Diffusers · The Technology

Cold air diffusion.

The reference method for commercial scenting. No heat, no water, no residue. Neat fragrance oil, atomised into a dry micro-mist that carries evenly through a room or a building.

What it is

A dry micro-mist, moved by air alone.

A small pump pressurises ambient air. The air passes over a precision nozzle drawing from an oil cartridge. The nozzle atomises the oil into a dry aromatic mist and releases it into the room.

The mist particles are between one and three microns across. At that size, fragrance suspends in air the way scent does in nature. It travels. It spreads. It fades cleanly.

Nothing else is added. No water, no propellant, no heat. The oil you buy is the oil the room receives — top notes, middle notes, and base notes in the order the perfumer intended.

Cold air diffusion is a nebulizing technology. It uses pressurised air to break neat, undiluted fragrance oil into microscopic particles measured in microns. The particles are so fine that they remain airborne. No droplets. No wet surfaces.

How it differs

Three ways to move a fragrance.
One of them belongs in a hotel.

Every fragrance delivery method changes the oil before it reaches the nose. Some burn it. Some dilute it. Cold air diffusion leaves it alone.

Incense, an ultrasonic humidifier and a cold-air diffuser side by side
Method 01
Heat based

Reed diffusers, wax melts, incense

Fragrance evaporates from a surface or burns off a wick. Range is short. Output falls as the source depletes. Top notes fade first, leaving a heavier, muddier scent. Not viable for spaces larger than one small room.

Method 02
Water based

Ultrasonic humidifiers

Fragrance is diluted into water then broken into wet mist by ultrasonic vibration. The output is damp. Droplets fall onto floors, fabrics, and glass. Fragrance is masked by the water carrier. Bacteria can grow inside the tank between fills.

Method 03
Air based · Cold air diffusion

Nebulizing cold air systems

Neat oil is atomised by pressurised air into a dry micro mist. Range extends across large volumes. Output is stable, tunable, and clean. Nothing touches surfaces. The fragrance the perfumer bottled is the fragrance the room receives.

The Range

Six series, one diffusion method.

Every unit runs the same cold-air atomisation — neat oil, no heat, no water. They differ in coverage, capacity, and how they mount.

Why it is superior

Four reasons it is the commercial standard.

Cold air diffusion is the method specified by luxury hotels, flagship retail, and premium offices worldwide. The reasons are functional, not aesthetic.

01

Fidelity to the fragrance

Zero dilution. Zero heat. The oil enters the air chemically intact, which means top, middle, and base notes present in the correct order.

100%
Oil integrity
02

Range and evenness

Micron sized particles stay airborne and drift with room currents. Coverage runs from eight hundred square feet to fifteen thousand square feet from a single system.

03

Clean by design

No water means no droplets. No droplets means no damp floors, no fogged glass, no ring stains on wood, no bacterial growth inside a tank.

04

Programmable output

Intensity, schedule, and zones are set from an app. The system dials up for busy periods, dials down at night, and shuts off entirely on holidays.

“The fragrance a guest smells on arrival should be the fragrance the perfumer signed off on. Cold air diffusion is the only method that keeps that promise across a whole building.”

How it deploys

Two ways to install the same technology.

The atomising engine is identical. What changes is where the mist enters your space. A standalone unit works inside the room. An HVAC integrated unit works inside the duct.

Standalone cold-air tower diffuser in a hotel lobby
Option A · Standalone

Placed in the room.

A finished floor, wall, or desk unit that runs off a wall socket. The mist releases directly into the space and travels on natural air movement.

Coverage
Up to eight thousand square feet per unit, depending on model
Install
Plug in. Fill cartridge. Connect app. Done inside an hour
Best for
Single rooms, boutique retail, lobbies, salons, spas, offices without ducted air
Format
Cordless column, wall unit, tabletop, floor tower
Option B · HVAC integrated

Placed inside the duct.

The atomiser sits next to the air handling unit and injects mist into the supply air. The building's own ventilation carries fragrance to every register at the same intensity.

Coverage
Up to fifteen thousand square feet from one SA300F unit
Install
Short braided line tapped into the return duct, hidden in the plant room
Best for
Hotels, malls, hospitals, corporate floors, showrooms with central air
Format
Wall mounted module, connected to the AHU, discreet in the service area

Deployment

Five stages from brief to running system.

Standalone or HVAC, the sequence is the same. One agreement covers hardware, oil, install, and monthly service.

01

Survey

We walk your site, measure air volume, and identify entry points. Standalone placement or HVAC tap decided on the spot.

02

Sizing

Cubic feet, ceiling height, air exchange rate, and occupancy inform the unit selection and the oil consumption rate.

03

Install

Our engineers commission the unit, dose the cartridge, and calibrate intensity against the space. No downtime for you.

04

Tune

Schedules by day and hour set from the app. Two week review to fine tune intensity based on guest and staff feedback.

05

Maintain

Refills and preventive service monthly, pan India. IoT diagnostics flag issues before they show up in the room.

Questions

Cold air diffusion, answered.

Yes. Our oils are IFRA certified and MSDS documented. Cold air diffusion introduces micro quantities of neat oil into the ambient air. The particles are inert, non allergenic in the concentrations used, and safe for continuous exposure at commercial scenting levels. Certificates are on file for every fragrance.
No. The atomiser taps the return duct with a short braided line and injects a dry micro-mist — no oil pools, no residue on coils or filters. It runs on a schedule and shuts off with the AHU.
A standalone unit diffuses into the room it sits in, up to ~8,000 sq ft. An HVAC-integrated unit injects into the duct so the building's own ventilation carries scent to every register. Same cold-air engine, different distribution.
It comes down to volume, layout, and whether you have central air. Share your space and we'll size it — most projects start with a quick survey and a fragrance shortlist.
A few grams per hour at standard output, depending on unit size and schedule. A single cartridge runs 30–90 days depending on the model and runtime.
Yes. Standalone units run one scent per unit, so zones can differ. HVAC systems run one scent per served duct network at a time.

Diffusers · Airosyn

Commercial scent diffusers, sized for every space.

Aroma diffusers in India, decoded.

Aroma diffusers are engineered hardware for ambient scenting in commercial and residential spaces. The category covers HVAC-integrated systems for buildings, cold-air units for zoned floors, and waterless compact units for rooms. Airosyn manufactures and services all three categories from India.

Cold-air aroma diffusers for offices and retail.

Cold-air diffusion is the standard for Indian commercial scenting between 500 and 5,000 sqft. The technology atomises fragrance without heat or water, holds nano-droplets in suspension, and distributes evenly across the served zone. Wall-mount or in-cabinet install.

HVAC scent diffusion for hotels and large offices.

HVAC integration suits buildings above 5,000 sqft with central air. Diffusion is invisible, even, and centrally controlled. The A316 series integrates with existing AHU returns in most cases — no new ducting needed unless zoning the building separately.
