About the engagement

Single signature, central control, scaled rollout.

Our way

How we approached it.

Every space is different, and so is our approach. We start with the floor plan, the airflow, and how people move — then engineer a signature that holds, room to room, refill to refill.

"Scent is the only brand asset most companies do not measure. We built Airosyn to make it measurable, repeatable, and ours."

1

The brief.

Snitch had grown faster than its retail experience. New stores opened weekly across India, and customers were experiencing an inconsistent brand on the floor. Music, lighting, and visual merchandising were locked centrally. Scent was not.

The brand brief asked for one thing first: a fragrance that could carry the Snitch identity across every store with zero drift. The operational brief asked for three more: hardware that installs inside store hours without disrupting trade; a service model that absorbs refills, monitoring, and SLA centrally; and a way to measure whether scent moved the metrics that procurement tracks.

2

The challenge.

Speed of expansion. Stores were opening at three to five per week. Any deployment had to keep pace. A traditional vendor model with site visits per refill would collapse inside 30 days.

Network parity. A flagship in Bangalore and a mall outpost in Lucknow needed to smell identical at the threshold. Different floor sizes, different ventilation, different staff. Same signature.

Procurement evidence. Scent budgets historically lacked the measurement frame retail finance teams expect. Without a co-measured baseline and a metric procurement could defend, the rollout would stall at Year Two.

3

The solution.

Airosyn deployed a scent-as-a-service engagement: signature, hardware, install, refills, monitoring, and audit under one master agreement.

Custom signature locked at brand level. Single IFRA-certified batch system. Zero variation between properties.

A305 cold-air diffusion specified across all stores. Identical hardware, identical commissioning protocol, identical scheduling profile.

IoT-monitored runtime per store. Dashboard visibility for procurement. Drift alerts to Airosyn ops before customers ever notice.

Phased install scheduled around store hours. Average 4-hour deployment per store, zero retail downtime.

Annual maintenance contract covering refills, replacement, and quarterly audit reports issued to Snitch finance.

4

The outcome.

Sales uplift of 12% network-wide, co-measured against the pre-install baseline year-on-year. Tracked monthly. Defensible to finance, traceable to scent.

Network parity held. Quarterly audits across the rollout flagged zero drift events in Year One. The signature in Bangalore matches the signature in Lucknow.

Install velocity matched store opening velocity. New Snitch stores now go live with scent on day one, scheduled into the store-opening checklist alongside fitouts and POS setup.

The engagement is live and on AMC. Refills cadence runs centrally. Procurement gets one invoice and one SLA.
